“ERIC B. TURNER IS A TIMELESS, EXCLUSIVELY UNIQUE VOCAL ANOMALY...”
Eric B. Turner's voice bridges time, resonating with echoes from the past and whispers of the future. Raised on gospel and shaped by the diverse influences of blues, R&B, funk, and jazz, his vocal talent knows no limits. A charismatic singer and actor, Turner once led the legendary Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame group, "The Drifters." His illustrious career includes performing alongside music icons such as Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Demi Lovato, Anthony Hamilton, and India Arie. In the summer of 2023, the American Masters Sing The Blues project featured Turner alongside Rock & Roll Hall of Fame singer Charlie Thomas for a revival of Smiley Lewis's 1955 hit "I Hear You Knocking."
In spring 2025, Turner will return to the Broadway stage in the new musical "Rock and Roll Man," portraying music legend Bo Diddley. This role marks another highlight in his vibrant performing career.
On October 27, 2023, Turner released his first solo album, "IT AIN'T EASY." The album blends elements of Blues Rock, Jazz Blues, Soul Blues, R&B, and Gospel Blues, infused with humor and sage advice. Central to "IT AIN'T EASY" is the theme of CHOICES—good ones, bad ones, and everything in between. With his robust, raw voice and poignant lyrics, Turner transports listeners on a musical odyssey from the Mississippi Delta through Chicago and up to Harlem, NYC, delivering what can only be termed exceptional blues!
